General Equipment Information for All Groups 2025-26
The equipment required varies between groups. Each swimmer is responsible for bringing their equipment to every practice in good condition. It is recommended to use a mesh bag for equipment. Lockers are available for a fee to rent at the pool to store equipment.
ALL swimmers need a fitted (one piece) swim suit. These can be purchased from any sports store or Amazon. It is recommended to have a practice suit and a competition suit. The competition suit does not have to be an ACTUAL competition suit, but just a separate one as the chemicals in the pool tend to eat away at swimsuits.
ALL swimmers need at least 2 pairs of goggles. The type of goggles is swimmer preference. These can be purchased from any sports store or Amazon.
ALL swimmers will need an Orcas swim cap for competitions. Every new swimmer will receive a complimentary Orcas swim cap at the start of the season and additional Orcas swim caps can be purchased. Generic swim caps can also be purchased at any sports store or on Amazon. Swim caps can be worn for practice if desired but are not required.
ALL swimmers need to bring a water bottle to every practice (not glass).
